Welcome

Hi and welcome to our online wedding album. Over the next while we hope to upload plenty of pictures, words and music from the big day and from our honeymoon. We wanted to do something that we can share with all of our friends and family which hopefully in some small way will help to express our gratitude for everyone's kind support, words and gifts.

So look around, enjoy. There are a list of labels directly below the pinatas that should help you to navigate around. We hope you enjoy it, lots of love... Emma & Brian Drury

A Glastonbury Blessing

Truly we have been blessed...

It's not often that you get the chance to meet your idols.

But when you just happen to bump into one of them on your honeymoon and they also just happen to be a genuine Minister in the First Presleyterian Church of Elvis the Divine (1st UK Chapter) it would have been rude not to ask the legendary larry love to bless our nuptials...

Off course a certain guitar player had promised to dedicate the OPT to us but I'm not entirely convinced that that ever happened..and seeing as how we didn't actually make it to that particular gig it probably would have been rude to ask for confirmation..
I was too shy to say hello in person, what with 'the aggro incident' n all but mrs wookie kindly went and got a picture for prosperity (although he was rather busy arguing with his manager at the time!)...

No drums, no bass, just (ahem) Rock Free Base...and the legendary Alabama 3...

The Stag - what happens on the island stays on the island...

7 fine specimens of 21st century man rowed to an island...

made shelter...

built a campfire...

that is ALL.

Cupcakes!

mmmmmmm....

cupcakes....

yummers!

Remembering Aunty Lyla

We wanted to take a minute to remember dear Aunt Lyla who sadly passed away earlier this year. My first memory of Lyla is of visiting Brighton as a kid and recieving one of her sweeping bear hugs of unconditional love upon arrival. They were the type of hug that left you bruised, short of breath and a little bit embarrassed at the time but as i grew up and went out into the big bad world i began to appreciate how lucky i was to have people like Lyla in my life, ready to just wrap their arms around you and let you know they loved you no matter what. Lyla very kindly left us a few items to remember her by which have helped to fill our new home and we remember her often when we listen to her beautiful lilac roberts radio which Emma has given pride of place in our kitchen.

This is a picture of her with some bloke from Donegal with a dodgy haircut...;-)

A Post Card from Park Central

This was the amazing view from our hotel in downtown Havana...

It had this fabulous rooftop swimming pool which was always my first port of call after breakfast. No matter how crowded the pool got these mental little birds would be dive bombing the surface with absolute precision in order to wet their beaks. It must have been a game because there were deffo easier ways of getting a drink but no matter how much you thought they were going to ram into you, they'd always just swoop up at the last minute.

It was quite an amazing sight and Emma will vouch for me when i say that i took a LOT of shots of an empty swimming pool before discovering this little action shot amongst the pile...
